We made our prediction earlier today about who was eliminated on Survivor 2013 in week 12. Now we’re waiting anxiously to find out if things will go down as anticipated or if our Survivor spoilers were all wrong. We do know for sure that tonight’s Tribal Council vote is going to be packed full of plenty of drama and we might just be in for a big surprise when we find out who got voted off Survivor Blood vs Water this week!
On Redemption Island, we have Laura M., Tina, and Caleb fighting to stay in the game. We think we know who went home on Survivor 2013 this week of the three, but we never count our spoilers until they hatch. We’re betting on Laura M. definitely getting through this round, but it looks like a seriously tough challenge so you never know exactly what is going to happen — no matter what spoilers you think you have!
Tribal Council is where a lot of the crazy fun tonight will likely happen. As it stands before we go into tonight’s Survivor 27 episode 12, the tribe is split four to two with Hayden and Katie on one side and Gervase, Monica, Ciera and Tyson on the other. However, before the night is through, someone may just decide to switch sides. Tribal Council this evening will be very interesting indeed with a possible tie vote situation going on. The castaway who got voted off Survivor 2013 this week could be in for quite a shock!
And here we go! Six are left, who will be voted out tonight?
Back at camp, Hayden tells everyone they better enjoy second place because if Tyson gets to the end, he is going to win. Gervase gets riled up and says he’s playing hard too and Tyson wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for him. Tyson tells Hayden he doesn’t like being called out like that. In confessional, Tyson says he is worried now he has an even bigger target on his back and he wishes he hadn’t used the Immunity idol.
Time for the Redemption Island challenge and we have Tina, Laura M. and Caleb fighting to survive tonight. Caleb tells host Jeff Probst he only has two people he would have kind words for in the remaining tribe, Katie and Hayden. Everyone else he doesn’t even want to look at. He says in the South a man’s word is his bond and here it apparently doesn’t mean anything.
The challenge is seriously tough this week with the three castaways having to build what is essentially a giant stack of cards eight feet high. Laura M. takes a big lead but she starts messing up at the top and her stack is really crooked. Amazingly enough, the way wiggly stack does not fall over and Laura M. is safe after 24 minutes of work. Caleb and Tina now have three minutes left to have the highest stack between the two of them. They are about even with Tina losing pieces of her stack and Caleb rushing to build as high as possible.
Caleb is looking like the winner despite our prediction that he would go home tonight based on spoilers we dug up. But wait! Caleb’s entire stack falls over and Tina is not going to touch her stack again until time is up. It’s a great strategy because Caleb cannot possibly catch up and he is out.
Laura once again gets to give the clue to the hidden Immunity Idol and she again gives it to Ciera. This time, however, Ciera does not burn the clue but says she is going to keep it. Laura M. tells her to go find that Idol!
Back at camp, Ciera shares the Immunity Idol clue with Gervase, Tyson, and Monica. This turns out to be maybe not the best idea because Tyson ends up finding it… and decides he is going to keep it for himself and not tell anyone he found it. He goes off to have a nice nap. Meanwhile, Hayden is still trying to get Gervase to flip on Tyson but it’s not going to happen no matter how friendly Gervase seems.
Time for the Immunity Challenge and in addition to immunity this week, the winner will also receive the gift of their own personal ice cream cart full of delicious goodness. This challenge requires patience, balance and concentration as the castaways have to carry balls on top of sticks across an obstacle course. Ciera and Katie end up way behind and they are pretty much out of it. Monica is in the lead with Gervase right behind her.
Monica and Gervase are now at the final obstacle where they have to knock down objects on poles with thrown sandbags. Gervase quickly pulls into a strong lead over Monica while Tyson starts furiously throwing. Monica catches up with Gervase but he manages to nail the last one and he wins immunity and the reward.
Gervase gets to choose another person to join him for ice cream and he picks Monica. He says it is payback for her giving up all the burgers and stuff before. Gervase gets to pick again and he chooses Tyson, his “left hand man” to join him and Monica.
Gervase is feeling pretty darn good about things right now. He has immunity and he is in a strong alliance. Plus, he has an awesome ice cream cart deliver, complete with root beer! Hayden, of course, uses this opportunity to slide up to Ciera and try to get her on his side. She pretends to listen but says in confessional that she is about to do anything with Hayden. He tells her that Gervase is with him and that she is very likely to get voted out next week. Ciera says if she voted with him, it would be a three to three vote and she is not doing that.
Hayden then corners Ciera and Gervase together and tries to convince them to blindside Tyson. They are not rolling with him though. When Tyson and Monica gather around, Hayden actually tells them he is sitting there talking to Ciera and Geravase and trying to get them to blindside him but it isn’t working. Hayden certainly is feeling very ballsy. It’s a shame no one is listening to him because Tyson really is going to win this thing if people don’t get him out soon.
Time for the Tribal Council and the tribe and jury gather around the fire. Hayden tells Jeff that four of the tribe are being controlled by Tyson. Hayden keeps nailing it in that Tyson is controlling people. Jeff keeps trying to talk about how Ciera could maybe make the choice to switch sides because she’s the odd person out in the three way alliance she is attached to. Hayden says where she is at now, she’s in fourth place. If she switched sides, there is no number four.
Gervase says no one is entertaining any idea of switching and Hayden is going to be going to Jury, he guarantees it. There is a whole lot of talk about who is number four in the Tyson/Gervase/Monica/Ciera alliance. Ciera is being pulled back and forth between Gervase, Tyson, and Hayden. It’s a whole lot of words flying around and not much sense being made. We get interrupted by Hayden saying “rustle feathers” instead of “ruffle feathers” and Tyson jumps on him for it for absolutely no reason because it sounded like “Russel feathers.” So weird.
Time for the vote at last!
Gervase votes against Hayden and says he is about to get a lesson in how to play the game. Tyson whispers to Ciera to stick with him and then goes and votes against Hayden. We don’t get to see any other votes. Jeff goes to tally the count. Tyson does not play his hidden Immunity Idol. Here’s the count:
Vote against Hay-done (Gervase)
Vote against Hayden
Vote against Monica
Vote against Monica
Vote against Hayden
Vote against Monica
It appears Ciera was convinced to switch sides? Or was it someone else? It’s a tie! There will now be a revote and Hayden and Monica will not be allowed to vote. Here’s the second count:
Vote against Monica
Vote against Hayden
Vote against Monida
Vote against Hayden
It’s still a tie! If the Tribal Council cannot unanimously agree on a person to vote out, the tie will have to be broken by a rock draw. According to the rules now, Gervase, Hayden and Monica are now safe. Katie, Ciera and Tyson will now have to draw rocks. The person with the oddly colored rock will be out. They draw and open up their hands to reveal their rocks… and Katie is out!
