Intentionally or unintentionally, Isabella Wang has kind of weaponized Sam Smith against Gr8ful. He’s not ready to just sit back and let himself go out the game in ninth place. He wants first. He thought he was fine in a huge nine person alliance, until he found out that he was actually the ninth person in that alliance, so the most likely one to be targeted in evicted when it gets down to the final nine.
Sam tried to give himself better game odds by keeping players that benefit his game more. Kemi Fakunle is one of those players, because she’s not coming after him. She also would come after strong players like Jackson Michie and Jack Matthews instead of him and his close allies like Nick Maccarone and Bella.
Sam tried hard to flip the vote to save Kemi, but it would depend on players like Christie Murphy and Tommy Bracco, who may be a little too loyal to Gr8ful to really flip. After several conversations, including with Jack, the flip plan got squashed…for now.
Later, Holly Allen made sure to let Jessica Milagros know that the house almost flipped against her, but it’s been stopped now, and Jess should be safe.Nick eventually started to back away from the flip idea. He didn’t want to ruffle any feathers this early, meanwhile Nicole Anthony was doing a great job of painting a huge red target on Nick and Bella’s backs, especially to his alliance members like Analyse Talavera and Holly.
She told them how Nick had mentioned their names as people to target. Nick even confirmed this to Tommy, who of course shared it with Christie. In the words of Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost, “girl [Nick), you in danger.” This talk with Nicole made Analyse, Christie, and Holly question if it wasn’t smarter to keep Kemi this week over Jess, and it made them change their initial target from Bella to Nick.
Jack and Kemi also had a civil conversation to try to get to the root of why they were targeting each other. Jack had Tommy in the room to act as a mediator and just so nothing could get twisted. Jack wanted to continue this theme for the rest of the night when he had private conversations with people from the other side.
Nicole and Kemi both officially learned about Gr8ful. Kemi from Bella and Nicole from Sam.
The houseguests played late into the night to ensure that their side had the numbers to keep or evict Kemi. In the end, they knew it would come down to Kathryn Dunn, so Holly and Jackson made sure to lock her into a three person alliance.
At the end of the night, it seemed like the votes would come down to a 8-3 vote but Nick wasn’t trying to be on the wrong side of the votes, so he and Bella were likely to vote with Gr8ful. So in the end, the vote will likely be unanimous.
