Kick back and relax as we are excited for a double dose of Big Brother 24 tonight. Not only will we get to see who was evicted from the Big Brother house last Thursday evening, but we will also find out who was crowned the new Head of Household and took control of the house. The new block nominees for this week will also be announced. In addition, the new besties twist will be revealed. Whew, that’s a lot of Big Brother in one show!
During the last episode, Michael Bruner chose not to use the Power of Veto after winning his second POV competition of the season. Head of Household Jasmine Davis was uncertain which block nominee to target, Taylor Hale or Joe “Pooch” Pucciarelli. Tonight, we will find out who went home, who takes control of the Big Brother 24 house, and so much more.
Week Two Power of Veto Ceremony Fallout
After the veto meeting, Taylor or Pooch were set to be evicted From the Big Brother 24 house. The house wants to target Pooch for eviction with a blindside. Pooch is completely clueless that he is this week’s real target for eviction. Even Taylor is on board, trying to fool Pooch that she is the one set for eviction.
Most of the houseguests are on board with sending Pooch home this week. The only person in the dark besides Pooch is his BFF, Joseph Abdin. He is starting to suspect that Pooch is the target.
Loose Lips Sink Ship In Big Brother
Kyle Capener and Alyssa Snider seem to have some feelings developing towards one another. During one of their private conversations, Alyssa revealed to Kyle that there was an all-girls alliance, and she didn’t stop there. She also told him that the girls are hoping that Taylor wins the HOH so that she will put up two guys for eviction. Kyle is relieved he’s not a target but is concerned about his brothers in the Big Brother house.
Week Two Big Brother 24 Eviction Vote Results
After the last plea speeches were made, the votes were unanimous. By a vote of 12-0, Pooch was blindsided and evicted from the Big Brother 24 house.
During his eviction interview with host Julie Chen Moonves, Pooch admitted he was completely shocked by his eviction. He thought the houseguests did what they had to do: get rid of a good player. Julie revealed the all-girls alliance and why they took the opportunity to evict Pooch when he gave himself up as a pawn. He said he would have done the same thing if he had been in their shoes.
Festie Bestie Big Brother 24 Twist Revealed
Julie announced the Big Brother 24 Festie Bestie twist to all the houseguests. She told them that after the HOH competition, they would all be playing the game with their bestie moving forward. The bestie paired with the winner of the HOH this week will also be safe from eviction.
Rather than nominating two individuals to the block for eviction this week, the HOH will nominate a set of besties to the block for eviction. The Power of Veto competition will also be played with sets of besties. If the veto is used, bot besties will be safe. The replacement nominee will be a set of two besties on the block for eviction this week.
On eviction night, the besties will be broken up. Only one of the two besties will be evicted from the Big Brother 24 house. The fate of the surviving bestie, whose partner was evicted, will be notified next week about their plans in the house.
Week Three Head of Household Competition
This week’s HOH competition is called Get Lit. This competition will not only crown the next HOH, but it will also determine the besties moving forward in the Big Brother 24 game.
Here is how it works. This game will be played in several rounds. During each round, the houseguests will hold on to a button on an oversized lighter (which is overhead and moves from side to side), and music will begin playing. As soon as the music stops, the houseguests must immediately sit down in their seats to activate a sensor. The last houseguest to activate their sensor will be eliminated.
The first houseguest eliminated can choose to partner with out-going HOH Jasmine, or they can sit down at an empty table and wait for another eliminated houseguest to pick them as a bestie. The last houseguest standing will become the new HOH, and they will automatically become the bestie of the last player without a partner.
Terrance Higgins was the first houseguest eliminated. He chose to sit at an empty table rather than pairing up with Jasmine. Brittany Hoopes was next to go and also chose to sit at an empty table. Joseph was last to sit next and sat by himself.
Michael accidentally let go of his lighter and was eliminated. He decided to partner with Brittany. She did not seem too thrilled with his decision.
Taylor let go as well and sat alone at a table. Monte Taylor was eliminated and chose to sit with Joseph. Nicole Layog was out next and picked Taylor as her bestie. Indy Santos was eliminated and sat at an empty table. Daniel Durston was next to fall and picked the last table.
Next to go was Kyle, and he chose Daniel as his bestie. Alyssa was out next, and she chose Indy as her bestie. Ameerah Jones and Matt Turner are the last two houseguests standing. Ameerah fell next, making Turner the week three HOH. Ameerah picked Terrance, which made Jasmine Turner’s partner. That also made Jasmine safe for the second week in a row.
Festie Besties are as follows:
Turner and Jasmine
Terrance and Ameerah
Brittany and Michael
Monte and Joseph
Nicole and Taylor
Indy and Alyssa
Daniel and Kyle
Week Three Block Nominees
Turner is HOH this week and is responsible for choosing the two houseguests to sit on the block for potential eviction this week. After many conversations with the males in the Big Brother 24 house, Turner is considering Nicole and Taylor or Michael and Brittany for his block nominees this week. He spoke with both pairs of besties to help make his decision.
At the end of the day, Turner decided to nominate Michael and Brittany. He explained that he chose this pair simply because they don’t talk a lot of gameplay together. In private, Turner admitted that he feels Brittany is shady and can’t be trusted.
