Celebrity Big Brother Episode 3: First Celeb Eviction 2/4/22

The game has been moving quickly inside the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house. Miesha Tate won the first Head of Household competition without much trouble. She nominated Carson Kressley and Mirai Nagasu to the block for eviction during the 2-hour live eviction episode this evening. Carson was told he was a pawn while Mirai is the target after she told Teddi Mellencamp she was going to be the target for eviction this week.

Cynthia Bailey received the Gala Gift which granted her safety for the week; however, Julie Chen has promised a cursed side of the gift. That curse could send another houseguest home tonight that is not currently on the block. We will see how the Power of Veto played out, who the curse will impact, and which celebrity is the first sent home.

Block Nomination Aftermath

Meisha wants to ensure her nominations stay the same by winning the POV competition. Carson seems comfortable being a pawn for Meisha. Mirai was told she would be a pawn this week before she snitched about Teddie being the backdoor target. Now, Mirai isn’t sure if she is a pawn or the real target.

Both members on the block are in the Formation alliance this week. Carson desperately wants to win the POV so that he can take himself down, and therefore there would only be one member of their alliance on the block.

Todrick Hall and Meisha have a final two alliance. Todrick feels as though Carson is very well-liked by everyone in the Big Brother house and therefore a threat. He is worried that Carson will not be on the Big Brother block again and wants Todrick to target him this week. Meisha is still fixated on Mirai after she gave up her target info to the target.

First Power of Veto Competition

The houseguests playing in the POV competition this week are Meisha, Carson, Mirai, Cynthia, Todrick, and Lamar Odom.

This competition is called Schedule Snafu, and here’s how it works. Each houseguest will compete individually. They must use clues from their assistant to figure out their schedule for the day. The houseguest to correctly order their schedule in the shortest amount of time will win the golden power of veto.

After all six celebrity houseguests have taken their turn with the Schedule Snafu, the times are displayed. Obviously, Carson killed it and won the golden power of veto.

Carson will most likely take himself off the block to ensure there is no chance he can be evicted. That leaves Meisha with a big decision to make. Her initial thoughts are to put Chris Kattan on the block with Mirai. Meisha is also worried about Carson and what a threat he could really be in the game, as mentioned by Todrick already.

First Power of Veto Ceremony

Shanna Moakler spoke with Meisha in the HOH room and gave up the goods about the Formation alliance. She said the alliance was no longer together as they didn’t work with one another. Shanna assured Meisha that she could be trusted and wanted to work with Meisha.

Next, Meisha met with Teddie. Teddi pleaded her case to stay off the block. Meisha told her that there was a line drawn in the sand, and Teddie was on the other side.

At the ceremony, Carson used the POV to save himself from the block. Meisha named Teddi to the block as the replacement nominee. As it stands right now, either Mirai or Teddi will be evicted tonight, but we don’t know about the curse of the Gala Gift yet.

Curse of the Gala Gift

Now the Mon Won hat is cursed and no longer in fashion. The logo for Mon Won was turned upside down and became Nom Now. The hat must be passed from one person to another, but this time, the last person holding the hat will have to take one of the houseguests off the block and immediately replace them.

Cynthia will start the hat passing process. She gave the hat to Shanna who gave it to Chris Kirkpatrick. He gave it to Todrick, and he gave it to Chris Kattan. He had to either give it to either Lamar or Todd Bridges. He decided on Lamar. That meant Lamar had to give the hat to Todd.

Todd chose to take Mirai off the block. That means Teddi or Todd will be evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.

First Live Eviction Vote

Either Teddi or Todd will be the first celebrity evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight. The votes were as follows:

Lamar voted to evict Teddi
Chris Kattan voted to evict Todd
Todrick voted to evict Teddi
Cynthia voted to evict Todd
Chris Kirkpatrick voted to evict Teddi
Carson voted to evict Todd
Mirai voted to evict Teddi
Shanna voted to evict Teddi

With a vote of 5 to 3, Teddi was the first celebrity evicted from the Big Brother house. During her exit interview with Julie Chen, Teddi shared that she thinks she was a big enough threat to be voted out first. She also said she felt the most betrayed by Todrick. Teddi was also very surprised that Shanna voted for her eviction.
