Buckle up and hang on tight…it’s another double live eviction night on Big Brother 23. Last week the houseguests were surprised with their first double eviction of the season. Tonight, the remaining 6 houseguests will be quite shocked with another double eviction during the 2 hour Big Brother 23 special.
There are only six houseguests left inside the Big Brother 23 house, and they are all members of the history-making Cookout alliance. The current Head of Household, Kyland Young, will be the first member of the alliance to draw blood against his own allies. Tiffany Mitchell is the target, and her close ally Hannah Chaddha sits next to her on the block. Let’s get this party started.
Week 10 Power of Veto Ceremony Fallout
After Kyland won the POV and chose not to use it to save Hannah from the block, she knew some hard work was ahead of her. If Kyland’s promise was correct, Hannah will be losing her closest ally in the Big Brother game. She is shifting gears to find a new path to the end without Tiffany.
Tiffany is making her rounds in the house throwing Hannah under the bus. Her first stop is with Azah Asasum. Tiffany is doing her best to convince Azah how cut-throat Hannah really is. Azah doesn’t seem to be buying what Tiffany is selling.
Tiffany attempted to sway Big D to come her way, and that did not go well. Next up, Xavier Prather. She knows that if she can’t sway Xavier, she has no chance of staying in the Big Brother 23 house.
Tiffany approached Xavier and gave her “throw Hannah under the bus speel” to him. All Xavier did was compare notes with Derek Frazier about Tiffany’s desperation in the house right now.
Check-In With The Jury House
Sarah Beth Steagall joined the Big Brother 23 jury house as the third member (Derek Xiao and Britini D’Angelo preceded her). She brought with her a tape showing how she was evicted by Hannah’s HOH. Thanks to Kyland’s goodbye message to her, she was able to put together the Cookout alliance and all of its members.
SB even figured out why they formed the alliance…to create the first African American Big Brother winner. SB is very hurt and upset by all the unnecessary lies told to her by her closest ally, Kyland.
Claire Rehfuss was the next to join the jury house. Right behind her, Alyssa Lopez came in following the double eviction night, at least the first one. The jury members are shocked that Tiffany was the HOH that took Claire out of the Big Brother 23 house.
In Xavier’s goodbye message to Alyssa, he said he had been loyal to her as long as he could, and she figured he said that because of the six-person alliance he was in. The jury is well aware of the Cookout and all of their plans, but they seem to respect the mission (to make sure the first African American wins Big Brother this year).
Week 10 Live Eviction Vote
Time for the first eviction of the night, and either Tiffany or Hannah will be the first houseguest evicted. The live votes were as follows:
Derek voted to evict Tiffany
Xavier voted to evict Tiffany
Azah voted to evict Tiffany
By a unanimous vote of 3-0, Tiffany was evicted from the Big Brother 23 house. During her eviction interview with host Julie Chen Moonves, Tiffany blamed her latest HOH victory as the reason she was evicted. She said the alliance was very upset by her win as Kyland had been picked to win. She had no regrets in the game.
Julie announced to the remaining houseguests that there will be another eviction tonight. A few chins needed to be picked up off the ground after that announcement.
Week 11 Head of Household Competition
This competition is called BB Ballers and is played in two rounds. In the first round, the houseguests must race against each other to roll one colored ball at a time up their ramps. They must attempt to knock the 12 silver balls from their grass area. The first two houseguests to complete this will advance to round two.
In the second round, the same game will be played but with a slight twist. The first to complete the second round will become the next HOH.
Azah and Xavier won the first round and will face off against each other in round two. In this round, the houseguest won’t try to knock off balls but will try to land them on the grass area.
Azah beat Xavier by a score of 5 to 3. She must now decide who to nominate to the block for eviction.
Week 11 Block Nomination Ceremony
Azah decided to nominate Xavier and Hannah to the block. She told Hannah that she was merely a pawn and her target was Xavier. Hannah questioned the votes and Azah told Hannah she would have Big D’s vote over Xavier. Little does Azah know that Big D is in a separate alliance with Kyland and Xavier. This could get ugly.
Azah couldn’t nominate Kyland because of a promise she made him earlier in the game. She wouldn’t nominate Big D because they were both Jokers together…way back when.
Week 11 Power of Veto Competition & Ceremony
This competition is called What The Bleep, a Big Brother classic. The houseguests will watch a video showing something a houseguest has said over the summer. There will be a bleeped-out word or phrase, and they must correctly identify the bleeped-out content. The most points scored after 7 rounds will win the golden POV.
In the end, Kyland won after a tie-breaker question with Xavier. Kyland decided to take Xavier off the block. Consequently, Big D was the only houseguest left to go on the block. Either Hannah or Big D will be the second houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.
Week 11 Live Eviction Vote
Time for the second vote of the night. The houseguests voted as follows:
Kyland voted to evict Hannah
Xavier voted to evict Hannah
By a unanimous vote of 2-0, Hannah was the second houseguest evicted from the Big Brother 23 house. During her eviction interview with Julie, Hannah said she was shocked that Kyland was not put on the block in place of her. She thinks the last 3 guys are working together, and Azah would have been better off to have kept Hannah in the game.
Well, that was a crazy night as expected. Tiffany and Hannah were evicted from the Big Brother 23 house and will be joining the Big Brother jury.
Join us again on Sunday, September 19 at 8/7c for the next Head of Household competition and block nominations.
