Oh boy, tonight’s episode of Big Brother 24 should be a great one. Just when you thought this season was doomed, unlikely heroes finally saw the light and are planning to make significant changes to the Big Brother 24 game with a new alliance created called the Leftovers.
Under Head of Household Matt Turner, the Leftovers have planned to put besties Ameerah Jones and Terrance Higgins on the block at the Power of Veto ceremony tonight. They will be the replacement nominees since Michael Bruner and Brittany Hoopes won this week’s veto. Half of the Big Brother house is expecting Taylor Hale to go on the block and become the target for eviction. If all goes as planned, there will be a bigger blindside tonight than last week with lots of fireworks when Ameerah is sent out the Big Brother door.
Week Three Power of Veto Ceremony And Aftermath
Michael has won every POV competition on Big Brother 24. Of course, he and Brittany used the POV to take themselves off the block for eviction. Turner was left to put two replacement nominees on the block, which had to be a Festie Bestie duo. As the Leftovers had planned, Turner nominated Ameerah and Terrance to the block for eviction.
Ameerah and Terrance were both shocked that Turner blindsided them when he chose to put them on the block. No one can understand this decision and can’t believe he was working alone. Well, everyone not in the Leftovers alliance can’t figure it out.
Terrance promised Ameerah he would not campaign against her. He told her that he would leave the house rather than work against her. Ameerah needs 6 votes to stay in the Big Brother 24 house. She believes that she will have the votes to stay in the house between the Girls, Girls alliance and Po’s Pack. The Leftovers don’t want her to know she is the target this week.
Nicole Layog was consoling Terrance and boldly told him that the consensus in the Big Brother 24 house was that he was going home this week. Turner overheard this conversation and pulled Terrance aside. Turner did not give Terrance exact details and swore him to secrecy. Turner assured him as the HOH, he was safe from eviction. Terrance vowed his loyalty to Turner.
Week Three Live Eviction Vote
After the “last ditch effort” speeches were made, the votes began. The votes were as follows:
Alyssa Snider voted to evict Terrance
Indy Santos voted to evict Terrance
Monte Taylor voted to evict Ameerah
Nicole voted to evict Terrance
Jasmine Davis voted to evict Terrance
Brittany voted to evict Ameerah
Taylor voted to evict Ameerah
Kyle Capener voted to evict Ameerah
Michael voted to evict Ameerah
Daniel Durston voted to evict Ameerah
Joseph Abdin voted to evict Ameerah
By a vote of 7 to 4, Ameerah was evicted from the Big Brother 24 house. Nicole, Daniel, Jasmine, Alyssa, and Indy didn’t know how to act with the blindside. During her eviction interview with host Julie Chen Moonves, Ameerah said she was shocked but wasn’t completely surprised by the eviction. She knew she was a bigger threat than Terrance, so she was the better choice for eviction. Julie revealed the Leftovers alliance to her.
Julie announced to the remaining Big Brother 24 houseguests how the Festie Bestie twist will work now that Terrance is alone without a partner. She advised the players that the surviving bestie would have the power to choose any Festie Bestie duo to join in the game.
The new trio would all be safe from eviction if one of the members won HOH, and they would all be on the block together for eviction as well. Only one of them would be evicted from Big Brother house, however.
Week 4 Head of Household Competition
This week’s competition is called The Invitation, and here is how it works. On Julie’s mark, 1,500 invitations will reign down on the houseguests. They must open envelopes until they find a special red invitation. The first 8 houseguests to find the red invitations will move on to compete for the next HOH. The 4 players that do not find a red invitation are eliminated from the competition.
Jasmine was the only houseguest to find a red invitation before the end of the episode. Join us again on Sunday, July 31 at 8 PM EST for the HOH results.
