Who won Head of Household on Big Brother tonight was one of the most anticipated moments of the week for show fans. With veteran Frank Eudy out of the house at last, and the biggest target out of the way, pretty much everyone in the house could end up being one of the next houseguests on the eviction block.
With her only true ally gone, Bridgette Dunning was left knowing she could easily be the next to go home. Unless, of course, a bigger fish ended up in the frying pan. Both Da’Vonne Rogers and Nicole Franzel were potential big targets this week, and it wouldn’t take much to get a voting majority on board with voting one of them out if they landed on the block. Both ladies are huge threats going forward, especially Nicole due to her ongoing showmance with Corey Brooks.
Of course, there’s also Paulie Calafiore, who has been working the house as well as, if not better than, his brother Cody Calafiore did during his season. If half the players really started thinking about what’s been going on hard enough, they’d realize Paulie is a very dangerous houseguest who really should be voted out as soon as possible. Or he could very well ride to the end with his own showmance partner Zakiyah Edwards, and get his hands on that half million dollar prize.
Everyone in the house had a reason to truly want to win the Head of Household Competition this week, and to fear possibly ending up as the eviction target. So it was guaranteed to be a tense and hard fought Head of Household Competition this evening.
The HoH Comp tonight was called “Perfect Shot” and the goal was to throw a red ball ‘up the creek’ and get their ball into a box at the end. The first person to get the shot would be the new HoH. The houseguests all had a yellow ball they could practice with as many times as they want. But the red ball could only be thrown once. So if they miss with the red ball, they were out. (Unless everyone missed, and then the ball that got the farthest along the ‘creek’ would win.)
All of them started off practicing with their yellow ball and it was not easy getting it into the tiny box at the end of their fake creek. The competition is not over when the CBS Big Brother 18 show ends, so we had to wait until Sunday night to see the rest of the challenge play out. From spoilers we heard on the Big Brother Live Feeds, we know the HoH comp went on for quite some time, but we only got to see a brief amount of the rest of it on the CBS show. Most of the houseguests pretty much sucked at the game, and the player with the final high score with their red ball ende dup being… Paul Abrahamian!
