The Big Brother 21 houseguests spent the majority of the day waiting around for the Power of Veto to start, as have we. Anxiety was at an all-time high for nominees Jessica Milagros and Kemi Fakunle, but everyone else was just excited about the possibility of winning a trip to Fiji.
A few days ago, the Big Brother houseguests got a sneak peek at the upcoming Power of Veto competition. Big Brother 20’s Brett Robinson and Winston Hines made a special appearance (via video) to announce the Love Island themed Veto competition. A trip to Fiji (and the houseguests assumed other prizes) would be up for grabs.
This got the houseguests pumped to play for those other prizes. Head of Household Jack Matthews selected Isabella Wang to play in the Veto, Jess picked Jackson Michie to play in it it, and Sam Smith’s name was picked by random drawing. This made this week’s Veto players Jack, Jess, Kemi, Bella, Jackson, and Sam.
Sam, Jackson, and Bella already said they wouldn’t be going for the Veto, but would instead be fighting for the prizes. Jack also wanted to go for the prizes, but Christie Murphy and Jackson said that he should definitely go for the Veto. Jackson said he would rather win a prize, but if it came down to Jess, Kemi, or him winning it, he would have to take the Veto.
With so players actually wanting to win the Veto, this really meant this week’s competition would be between Jack, Kemi, and Jess. Jess was supposed to be this week’s pawn, but her trying to convince Jack and others that she didn’t start the women’s alliance could shift the target. However, Jack still really wants Kemi out the game. This is a must win Veto for both women.
So who won this week’s Big Brother 21 Power of Veto?
