This Big Brother 22 week is still starting to take form. There is one big power alliance, and then there are players who want to form an equal but opposite force in the house. The proposed other side can’t quite figure things out yet, but they could be a great alliance when they get themselves together. At the moment, as she sits on the block next to David Alexander, things aren’t looking great for Nicole Anthony. Not only is she not feeling great about sitting on the block against an ally, and former Big Brother 21 housemate, but she if nominations don’t change, she’s likely the one going home this week because of her friendship with Janelle and Kaysar.
Head of Household Memphis Garrett wants to get as little blood on his hands as possible, because of this, he chose to go the safe route this week by nominating David and Nicole. David was an option for him because the men aren’t exactly on the same page in this game, and he nominated Nicole A because her not playing in this week’s Safety Suite means she someone he might have to play against in that competition next week.
Memphis pulled off a double win week by also taking home the Power of Veto. It’s very rare that the Head of Household uses the Veto to change his or her nominees. It likely only happens when an initial backdoor plan is in the works. Janelle Pierzina and Memphis’ alliance tried to get a backdoor plan going, but he refused it. Janelle wanted Nicole Franzel on the block and out the game. Memphis’ alliance wanted to make a move against Kaysar Ridha and Janelle. These two opposite sides both knew that Memphis would likely not use the Veto, because he wants to play the middle.

Memphis decided not to use the Veto. On Thursday, either Nicole A or David will be the second person to leave the Big Brother 22 house.
