Here we are in the third week of Big Brother 23. Xavier Prather is the current Head of Household with a solid plan for eviction this week. He has nominated Britini D’Angelo to the block for the second time in a row, but she is only on the block as a pawn.
Xavier’s real target this week is the second Big Brother 23 block nominee, Brent Champagne. Brent, however, thinks he is the pawn this week. Xavier wants to keep it that way as long as he can to keep Brent calm. Tonight, the Power of Veto will be up for grabs. Can Brent or Britini switch up the game and take themselves off the block and ruin Xavier’s plans?
Week Three Big Brother Block Nominee Fallout
As expected, Britini ran off in tears after she heard she was on the Big Brother 23 block again this week. Her fellow Joker’s teammate, Azah Asasum is very upset that Britini was put on the block after she offered Xavier to put her up over Britini.
Xavier spoke alone to Britini and explained she is the pawn and not the target. He promised her that she was not the focus this week. Britini vowed to win the POV and take herself off the Big Brother 23 block.
Brent’s fellow teammates on the Aces also want to see Brent gone this week. Derek Xiao, Whitney Williams, and Hannah Chaddah came together and strategized to make Brent think he was the pawn this week, and the real target was Britini. Their alliance has turned and Brent has no idea.
Brent and Xavier had a private conversation, and Xavier promised he was not the target this week. Brent knows he is really the target, but he thinks he has enough allies to stay in the Big Brother house this week. He thinks he has the Ace’s complete support as well as other Big Brother 23 houseguests.
Week Three Big Brother 23 Power of Veto Competition
HOH Xavier randomly selected “houseguest choice” and picked with Christian Birkenberger to compete in the POV this week. Brent randomly selected Derek Frazier. Britini randomly selected Whitney to play in the Big Brother 23 POV competition.
This week’s POV competition is called Room Key Rumble, the typical Bowlerina competition but with a twist. Houseguests will compete against one another, two at a time, in order to select the right hotel room number where the ultimate Big Brother rager will commence. They must roll a small bowling ball to select the numbers for the hotel room.
But here’s the catch…there is a gate blocking their path on the bowling alley. The Big Brother 23 houseguests must spin on a pedestal for 15 seconds in order to lower the gate for 15 seconds. The first houseguest to knock down the correct room numbers will win that match, and the loser is eliminated.
The next houseguest in line will step up and challenge any player left in the game. This continues until only one Big Brother 23 houseguest is left standing. If a Big Brother 23 player knocks down the wrong number at any time in the match, they must hit their reset button and completely start over.
Britini and Brent compete in the first round, and Brent won. Xavier challenges Brent in round two and Brent is eliminated. Derek F. goes up against Whitney, and Big D remains in the game. Christian and Big D are next up, but Big D lost this time around.
The last round in the competition featured Xavier and Christian. The Big Brother 23 Power of Veto is up for grabs to the winner. After a hard-fought match, Christian won the POV competition and the power of safety.
Brent Is The Big Brother POV Mastermind
Brent thinks that he has the numbers to stay this week in the Big Brother house, 100 percent. So much so that he asked his “ally” Kyland Young to approach HOH Xavier and push for targeting Brent for eviction this week. Brent wants Kyland to do this so the nominations stay the same. He wants the nominations to stay the same because he is absolutely sure he has the votes to stay, and Britini will go home.
Brent is so certain of this that he spoke to America directly in the diary room. He asked us to solidify that this plan is one of the “greatest last-ditch efforts in Big Brother history”. Yes, that is exactly what Brent thinks right now. Could he really be that much in the dark? Apparently so! Can we say BLINDSIDE?
Week Three Big Brother 23 Power Of Veto Ceremony
As expected, Christian did not use the POV, and the block nominations stayed the same. Once again in the dairy room, Brent flaunted his plan as this being one of the best blindsides in Big Brother 23 history. Join us for that blindside, one way or another, tomorrow night, July 29 at 8/7c with the live eviction vote and the new Head of Household competition.
