New Cast Revealed & Spoilers
There will be 16 new faces entering the Big Brother 23 house tomorrow evening. For a change, that means no returning players. As promised, this cast is the most diverse to ever play the game together. From a 40-year-old phlebotomist in Detroit, MI with an alter-ego to a 21-year-old graduate student that plans to lie about her intelligence and bathe in the blood of the players she takes down, this seasons’ cast looks entertaining and exciting.
Unfortunately for Big Brother revealed houseguest Christie Valdiserri, she will not be competing any longer this season. Although she was vaccinated and followed all the COVID protocols, she tested positive and was pulled from the competition. Big Brother has announced that Claire Rehfuss will be taking her place immediately.
Claire is 25 years old and lives in New York, NY. She is an AI Engineer that appears to be quite intelligent. Claire is one of the founders of Survivor Michigan, the University of Michigan’s fan-made version of Survivor, indicating she is very familiar with reality competitions on the CBS network.
Live Feeds Will Have A New Home This Season
This season the 24/7 live feeds of the houseguests inside the Big Brother house will now be offered on the new streaming service for CBS, Paramount Plus (+). CBS All-Access and all of its content have been moved to the parent company of CBS -Viacom and will offer much more.
In addition to being a dollar cheaper each month ($4.99) for the essentials package, fans will be able to enjoy the Big Brother 23 live feeds all summer long, all the past seasons of Big Brother, and tons of new content provided by Paramount + from MTV, Showtime, Comedy Central, and much, much more.
Big Brother House Boasts New Design
The set designers for Big Brother have outdone themselves this season bringing us decor of Monte Carlo meets Vegas. The house has a beach club vibe while mixing in a casino atmosphere in some of the rooms. One of the main gathering places of the house is the kitchen which is adorned with shark wallpaper featuring a 3-D shark hanging above the cooking area. SWEET! F
Big Brother Execs Remind Us To Expect The Unexpected
Executive Producer Allison Grodner has shared many exciting details about the actual gameplay of the upcoming season. She shared that the Vegas vibe inside the house transcends from decor to gameplay. Grodner said that Big Brother 23 will have this year’s competitors constantly taking a gamble and being presented with many opportunities to weigh risk versus reward.
The houseguests will enter the Big Brother 23 house live again this year in groups of four, and they will be immediately thrown into a competition. The winner of each group will be a team captain for the first four weeks of the season. Interestingly, the first head of household winner will be offered a double or nothing Grodner says they simply can’t refuse.
