Paulie Calafiore scripted this week in the Big Brother 18 house perfectly. Now, the second veteran houseguest (HG) is sitting on the Block and is the house majority alliance’s target for eviction. Does veteran HG Da’Vonne Rogers have it in her to talk her way out of the mess she is currently in thanks to Paulie’s backdoor plan?
Since Paul Abrahamian won the Head of Household (HOH) competition, he had his mind set on wiping out the last half of ‘Fridgette’ by evicting Bridgette Dunning from the house this week. His best buddy Paulie had other intentions and laid out a perfect plan to backdoor Day, which including sacrificing his own game to do so. These are the kind of Big Brother moves that ultimately gain HGs jury votes and potentially game victory. Paulie’s plan proved to be perfectly orchestrated, and Day is now his own replacement nominee on the Block for eviction tonight.
Once Paulie won the Power of Veto (POV), beating out Bridgette, Paul, Corey Brooks, Victor Arroyo, and Natalie Negrotti, there was not much effort involved with changing Paul’s mind for the replacement nominee. Other than a last minute slip that could have potentially put Zakiyah on the Block, Paulie easily convinced his bromance buddy Paul to nominate Day to the Block. Paulie explained to Paul that Bridgette was no threat to their game and actually provided them with an additional vote. When all was said and done, a very surprised and upset Day was nominated to the Block as Paulie’s replacement nominee.
Day is fighting for her Big Brother life now to try and stay in the game and not become the first member of the jury. Based on the overall attitude of the HGs, Day needs a miracle at this point to stay in the game. However, this is a big Brother and we must always expect the unexpected. Don’t forget that even if Day is evicted tonight, she may have the round trip ticket that will grant her access right back into the game. Tune in tonight to see if Da’Vonne or Bridgette will be the HG evicted from the Big Brother house and if they hold the ticket to return.
