Big Brother 2014 Premiere: The Most Twisted Season Ever!

The Big Brother 16 premiere starts tonight and we can’t believe the long wait is finally over!  If you’ve been asking, when does Big Brother start? The answer is, just a few hours from now! The two-night move-in event kicks off at 8PM ET/PT on CBS. Big Brother 2014 promises to be the “most Twisted” season ever, and from the Big Brother spoilers we’ve seen so far, we don’t think CBS is kidding about that.

The crazy twists and turns launch tonight with the Big Brother 16 premiere. For the first time ever, only half of the Big Brother 2014 cast will be moving in this evening. The other half will have to wait until tomorrow night. (Well, actually, the move-in happened several days ago for all the HGs, but CBS likes to make it look like a ‘live’ show.)

In addition to two nights of move-ins, we will also get two nights of Head of Household competitions. That’s right, in case you missed the Big Brother spoilers, there will be TWO HoHs this season instead of just one, at least for a while. Two HoHs, four eviction nominations, and a battle between the two HoHs every week to determine who will be safe, and who will not.

The 16 Big Brother 2014 cast members will be split into two halves for the premiere week move-in event. Based on a sneak peek of the first Head of Household Competition released by CBS last night, we believe the two groups will be:

Group One: Frankie, Joey, Cody, Devin, Donny, Amber, Nicole, and Paola
Group Two: Christine, Zach, Caleb, Hayden, Jocasta, Derrick, Brittany, and Victoria

We still aren’t quite sure how these two sets of Houseguests were determined, although we suspect the #TeamAmerica vote twist had something to do with it. We also don’t know yet if these two groups will end up being separate teams competing against each other in the house. Or what exactly the overall deal is with how the two HoHs, four eviction nominations, etc. will work in context of the larger game.

Many remaining Big Brother 2014 mysteries will likely be solved by the end of the season 16 premiere tonight. So be sure to join us right here on for our live recap and chat during tonight’s events and watch what happens with us!
